Equality and Diversity

Tuesday, November 29, 2016

The overall mission of British Tennis (the Lawn Tennis Association, Tennis Foundation, Tennis Scotland and Tennis Wales) is to get more people playing tennis more often and its purpose is to enrich lives through tennis; these are underpinned by its core values of Teamwork, Integrity, Passion and Excellence. As we work towards getting more people playing tennis more often, we recognise the importance of promoting  Safe and Inclusive tennis to ensure that people have positive experiences of our sport whatever their age, disability, gender reassignment status, sex, marital or civil partnership status, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion, or sexual orientation (together the ‘protected characteristics’ under the Equality Act 2010), socio-economic status or any other background.
