Tennis Wales work closely with British Tennis to ensure tennis in Wales takes place in a safe environment. Tennis Wales approve and adopt the All Wales Child Protection Procedures and implement all policies a in-line with British Tennis.

Tennis Wales strives to ensure that all children, young people and adults at risk are safeguarded from abuse and have an enjoyable tennis experience.
Everyone who is involved in tennis has a shared responsibility to support this by promoting the welfare of all children, young people and adults at risk.
The LTA have produced a toolkit 'What's the Score: Safe and Inclusive Tennis' which includes all documents and check lists for tennis venues to use and adopt to shape the right environment for people to play.

Code of Conduct Templates
a named welfare officer with a valid LTA DBS,
the named officer must have attended a level 1 Safeguarding Course (Safeguarding and Protection in Tennis or UK Coaching – Safeguarding and Protecting Children or a Local Authority safeguarding training) AND
the named officer must haved attended a Time to Listen workshops designed especially for club welfare officers.
