Tennis Wales is delighted to notify you that at 7-00pm on Friday 7th October 2011, it will be staging its annual Awards evening at the Cardiff City Stadium. The evening promises to be another memorable celebration of the many current achievements in Welsh tennis. The event will consist of a two course Hot Fork Buffet, plus a half bottle of wine and the presentation of the Tennis Wales Awards.
We are also very fortunate to announce that John Parry will be our Guest Speaker for the evening. Known as "Wales New Voice of Wimbledon" John has been an International Tennis Umpire for 30 years and has chaired eight Wimbledon finals. John will be sharing his experiences with us all in his ‘It’s only a game’ speech.
This year three finalists have been selected in all of the Award categories except Player and Local Authority with four and two finalists respectively with the winner of each Award being announced on the night. The finalists are:

Tennis Wales will also be formally announcing its ‘Outstanding Contribution to tennis in Wales’ and also an ‘Outstanding Achievement Award’.
We are pleased to offer you tickets for the evening at £25 per head. It is hoped that many Clubs/Centres will purchase a table of ten, and thereby join us together, in recognising the many people contributing to Welsh tennis. Please complete the pro forma and return it to the Tennis Wales office. Tickets will be allocated on a ‘first come first served’ basis with demand expected to be high.
