Tennis Wales are working in partnership with the LTA for the following vacancy advert:-

Be part of a network of support for players, coaches and places to play across the South Wales helping us in our aim to identify and develop talented young players and coaches, promote competition and develop affordable and sustainable community tennis opportunities for all ages and abilities. 

We are looking for an individual with a strong tennis operations background and a good understanding of our ways or working. This individual will have the knowledge and commitment to manage our tennis developments, working closely with coaches, places to play, schools, colleges and universities, and Local Authorities across south Wales.

You will manage the South Wales area supporting key Tennis People operating in tennis venues to further develop their skills and knowledge for improved quality of tennis delivery, improving the tennis experience and increasing tennis participation.  There will be a strong focus on creating a quality competitive environment locally, supporting places to play to attain Tennis Clubmark, and on working with the Tennis Foundation, local authorities and other tennis stakeholders to develop tennis in the education sector and in public tennis venues to increase participation.

Salary: circa £29,670 per annum (dependent on experience) plus excellent benefits*

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday (9.00am – 5.00pm) plus evening and weekend work as required.

*Benefits include pension, car allowance and 25 days holiday.
