Swansea tennis prodigy Luke Simeone reached the finals of the recent under-16 boys’ winter National Tour Finals.
Number four seed Simeone, started strongly, winning his first-round match 6-4 6-0 against Ben Horton from Sussex.
In the quarter final the West Cross teenager had to overcome a tough opponent in Luke Oakley from Warwickshire but came through 3-6 6-2 7-5.
The semi final saw Luke take on the No.1 seed, George Hedley of Berkshire, who is currently ranked number three in Britain.
The match that lasted for over two hours, Luke winning another tough contest 6-4 6-3.
Luke had only 45 minutes' recovery time between the end of his semi final and the final where he faced Surrey's Sacha Modica, who ended the Swansea boy's title hopes by winning 6-3 6-3.
Luke said "it's been a great week for me reaching the final, it was a shame that my energy levels ran low in the Final, but it's been a great experience."
