Cardiff will host the first British Universities touchtennis tournament next spring, following the success of a special pre-Christmas event.

On the 15th December, the first Cluster Clubs Mini Tennis Festival was hosted by Cardiff Met Tennis Academy. There was an excellent turnout for the event, with teams coming from Cwmbran LTC, Allt-yr-yn LTC, Usk LTC, Abergavenny LTC, Stow Park LTC, Diamond Tennis Academy, Mackintosh LTC and Cardiff Met Tennis Academy.

Teachers and others involved in schools tennis are being invited to a special event to encourage the continued growth of the sport.

A teenager has become the 100th young person in Denbighshire, to be awarded an MV50 Sport Certificate.

Registration is now open for the Schools Tennis Road Show 2013, which will be visiting 16 venues across Great Britain in the Spring Term, including Wrexham and Cardiff.

Tennis Wales is delighted to bring the Tennis Leaders and touchtennis offer to every secondary school and FE college in Wales.
