Sytner MINI Grand Finals Top off Fantastic Summer of Competitions

Monday, October 03, 2016

With 51 Sytner MINI tennis events for beginners or those new to competition across South Wales it’s been a great summer of tennis for the Sytner MINI circuits.

This summer the circuits expanded with 6 new clubs coming on board. Over 1250 mini tennis matches were played, along with countless fun games and warm-ups to get the 280 children that took part having fun and enjoying the competition experience.

For the first time this summer we finished the season with a Grand Finals. Players that had played in several circuit events and collected leaderboard points to finish at the top of the table were invited to take part in a fun competition on finals day of the Welsh Championships.

The event was very well attended and the standard of tennis was good, players putting into practice all they had learnt over the summer.
