County Support Officer for North Wales

Tennis Wales is seeking to appoint a County Support Officer for North Wales to provide support to the Tennis Wales team and the North Wales County Committee.  This will be undertaken through contract work for approximately 12 hours per week to support Tennis Wales and the North Wales committee with the following principle activities:

  • Support and coordinate the annual club registration process for clubs across North Wales
  • Provide administrative support and communications for the North Wales summer and Winter club leagues
  • Provide administrative support and communications for the North Wales Team Tennis and the Road To Wimbledon events
  • Provide administrative support for the annual North Wales County Closed Tournament
  • Be a point of contact for the networks of registered clubs, coaches and volunteers across the region for information on LTA products and programmes, courses, sharing best practise, & providing relevant updates.
  • Administer the Tennis Leaders programme to include courses, databases and the incentives programme.
  • Provide help to referees and competition coordinators on Grade 7 to 3 events as and where necessary.
  • Competition Support Coordinator for Sytner to include promotion of events, providing packs, collating results, updating leader-boards and linking with the Wales Performance Development Officer.

The successful applicant will ideally have a background in tennis and an understanding of the various competitions involved with this work.
