Tennis Wales Ltd is the governing body for the sport in Wales, working with the Lawn Tennis Association and Sport Wales to grow the game and making it accessible to all sectors of the community.  It seeks to do this by increasing junior and adult participation across the community, developing a trained and experienced workforce of coaches, community activators and young tennis leaders, and creating a nation of champions by providing a pathway that can help talented players to realise their full potential.

2 x Board Vacancies

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an exciting time in Welsh tennis.  Tennis Wales has two independent board positions vacant and as part of our new Vision Plan for Tennis Wales, we're looking for dynamic, passionate, and professional people who could help us in our mission to improve lives and transform communities through tennis. The following are some specific skills and experience that we are looking for:

  • Community sport & leisure
  • Driving commercial income
  • Marketing
  • Legal
  • Safeguarding

ROLE COMPETENCIES

Defined by the processes and practices of the operation of a board of Directors, including the structures and procedures for decision-making, public accountability, control and codes of conduct.

  •  Highly developed financial knowledge and understanding

Maintains and applies a broad understanding of financial management principles to ensure decisions are fiscally sound and responsible.
