For the first time in the Warwickshire Over 50’s Ladies team history they have been crowned Indoor Inter County League Champions in an event held at Corby, Northamptonshire. In an impressive display the Warwickshire ladies recorded 6 wins losing only once in a tight match with Nottinghamshire. To date the competition has been running for a total of 13 years with this league victory adding to the Warwickshire Over 50’s Ladies already impressive history.
The team itself consisted of 10 players from a number of clubs. Alana Parsons, Kathy Brown (Solihull Arden), Caroline Rhodes, Kay Gebbels (Kenilworth), Carol Hunt, Carol Moran (Hall Green) Alison Kerr (Four Oaks), Jackie Sadler, Anna Potts and Roseanne Mann (Warwick Boat Club) all made up the victorious squad.
