There are two upcoming chances for Warwickshire Tennis Leaders to be involved at two International Tennis events, The AEGON Classic 2010 at the Edgbaston Priory Club, Birmingham and at the Wimbledon Championships (you must be over 16 to volunteer at Wimbledon). For further details on each event please read on:
AEGON Classic 2010:
Any Leader wishing to be involved in this local International Women’s Event should contact the contact office giving with their name, age, club, contact telephone number and what days you are available to volunteer.
Wimbledon Championships 2010:
This is an opportunity for tennis leaders over 16 who have volunteered at their local club in Warwickshire and who show excellent leadership skills. We will be selecting eight of the best to work on the Kidzone at Wimbledon. There are four places each week and the County will pay for accommodation at Roehampton University. To be selected send a letter of application detailing your experience with details of your club and a referee that we can contact. Also, indicate which weeks you would be available:
• Week 1: Sun 20th June – Sat 26th June inclusive
• Week 2: Sun 27th June – Sun 4th July inclusive
