The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) today announced the Entry Lists for the Main Draw of the AEGON Trophy which will take place at The Nottingham Tennis Centre from May 31-June 6 2010.
Five of the men’s top 100 have confirmed their attendance with the French player Arnaud Clement (world No. 76) confirmed as the No. 1 seed.
Alongside Clement will be the American Rajeev Ram (world No. 90), the Polish player Michal Przysiezny (world No. 95), South African Kevin Anderson (world No. 97) and the American Robby Ginepri (world No. 100).
Dmitry Tursunov, last year’s AEGON International Champion is also in the Main Draw of the €42K men’s Challenger Event alongside Taylor Dent, the former top thirty player.
In the women’s event, a $50K ITF Event which runs alongside the men’s, are eight current top 100 players. British No. 1 Elena Baltacha will enter as the No. 1 seed for the tournament. Alongside her is Switzerland’s Stefanie Voegele, the runner-up from last year’s AEGON Trophy.
Baltacha commented: "I'm really looking forward to coming back to the AEGON Trophy and stepping onto the grass again. It's been a fantastic year for me and it'll be nice to mark that with a really good week in Nottingham.
"Hopefully it'll get the AEGON British Tennis Series off to the perfect start for me. I love this time of year and I can't wait to get things started!"
Paul Hutchins, the Tournament Director added: "This is a great draw for the AEGON Trophy with some top international and British players entering this year.

The wild cards will be announced the week prior to the AEGON Trophy. Entry to the event is free.
