Olton & West Warwicks Tennis Club were delighted with the success of their Easter Multi Sport Camps which were attended by children from 3 to 14 years. All children had a great time playing not only tennis but football, hockey, golf and cricket and enjoyed a great social atmosphere at lunch and break time.
On the Friday the Club ran an LTA Tennis Leaders Course for 13 to 17 year olds. This course gives teenagers the opportunity to become a Tennis Leader and to get involved at the Club by supporting the coaching staff on the Junior Programme. The Leaders from West Warwicks who attended that day were Chris Shepheard, Ed Toogood, Charlie Fennell, Jon Oliver, Ali Hasson, Bebe Bryan, Chris Nightingale, Meemo Ismail and Alex Chiles. All the Leaders were fantastic on the day and really embraced the course. During the day the Leaders worked with the children on the Easter Camp and helped the coaches run match play sessions and drills, a great experience for all.

Adult Daytime Tournament
On Friday 26th April West Warwicks had 21 adult players who enjoyed an American Progressive tournament at the Club. This meant that doubles matches were played with the winners moving up a court and the losers down a court. The tournament was won by Jan Prottey with Andrew Thompson in second place. Following 2 hours of very competitive tennis and just before the hail storm the players enjoyed a lovely lunch in the restaurant at the Club.
