Wildmoor Spa Men's Tennis League - Millennium Scroll Award

The South Warwickshire Summer Tennis League presented a top Administration Award. The trophy was the “Millennium Scroll” for the best individual Administrator of 2014 in the League. This trophy was awarded by the League Secretary Corin Bishop whose personal choice was Steve Righton of Stratford-on-Avon Tennis Club. 

A teacher at Henley High School for 32 years, Steve has been club captain at Henley-in-Arden Tennis Club, team captain at Snitterfield and B team captain of his current club Stratford.  He has also organised Stratford's veterans team.  He still plays regularly for Stratford and is a keen golfer at Stratford Golf Club.  His top tip is "Organise events in a way that you would want others to organise them".

On the league front Steve came onto the committee as Division Five Organiser in 2010 the year this Division was formed.  After two years He took over the running of the Premier Division when the Secretary stepped down from this role and he still runs this division now to great effect.
