Over the last couple of months coaches have been applying for Sportivate Funding to deliver Tennis Xpress and Cardio Courses for players aged 13+ as a follow on from Great British Tennis Weekends 17/18 May and July 19/20.
The initial feedback from Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire Sport [CSW] is that the bids fit Sportivate criteria and are likely to be successful. A few may need to make slight changes. To recognise the hard work of coaches and to support all applications CSW are providing the opportunity for coaches to attend Tennis Xpress training alongside which CSW will run through service level agreements and how to use the online portal for Sportivate monitoring.
A few coaches have already attended the pilot Tennis Xpress Training and have shown how the activity has increased members and participants at their tennis venue. We would now like to open up this opportunity to all coaches who have submitted a Sportivate bid to deliver Tennis Xpress, this will be free of charge however numbers are limited.
