The Duke of Cambridge Visits Coventry

The Duke of Cambridge played tennis with the runners-up of the School Games competition from Finham Park Coventry during his visit to War Memorial Park to launch Centenary Fields, a national initiative which aims to protect parks and green spaces created in memory of those who lost their lives during World War I.

Blue Coat Secondary School satellite club players demonstrated cardio tennis whilst Finham School played on the mini tennis courts. Hollie Sharman, inspire2coach, who leads the school programme and encourages all young players to take the opportunity to play at the park, met the Prince and played alongside him. Following some competitive rallies, from the children, the Prince met and shook hands with the four players and chatted to them about their tennis.
