The Wildmoor Tennis League for the South Warks Area presented a top Administration Award.
The trophy was the “Millennium Scroll” for the best individual Administrator of 2015 in the League. This trophy was awarded by the League Secretary Corin Bishop whose personal choice was Tim Page of Stratford-on-Avon Tennis Club. This is the second year in a row that a member of Stratford Tennis Club has been honoured.
Tim works in I.T. for Stratford-on-Avon District Council where he has been for the last twelve years. He has been playing tennis for Stratford-on-Avon Tennis Club since he was eleven years old and during that time has been the Men’s captain and both Winter and Summer team captains for a number of years. His other sports include golf and table tennis.
On the Summer League front, Tim has been the contact and captain of the Premier Division side for the last thirteen years since 2003, which coincidentally was the beginning of Stratford’s successive run as league champions. How, much of this was down to Tim’s organisation of the side is hard to say but it must have had an influence. His record this year and in previous years has been impeccable and he is thoroughly deserving of this award.
