The new ATP Rankings reveal that Warwickshire's Lloyd Glasspool has achieved his target, and in 4 and a half months, he has reached the top 500 of the ATP Tour Ranking, as as he moves to his new ranking of 492 in the World.
This is a great start to his short career as a Tour Player, having just left his four year American tennis scholarship at The University of Texas, at Austin, Texas, in May.
It is now time for Lloyd to take a Christmas rest, before he restarts his quest in the New Year, to get his ranking low enough to enter the Wimbledon Qualifying event in May.
Lloyd is a player who had always worked very hard in training and is an excellent role model for our younger players. He is someone that all of Warwickshire LTA can all be proud of.
I am sure that we all wish Lloyd every success in his future career.
