A new record entry of 47 teams is expected at the AGM of the South Warwickshire & District Summer Tennis League, known as the Wildmoor Spa Tennis League. The League's Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 24th February, 2015, from 7.30pm, at the Bidford Bowling Club, Salford Road, Bidford-on-Avon. With the Premier League and Divisions 1 to 5 the league remains at six divisions.
This Men’s Doubles Summer Tennis League covers the South Warwickshire and district areas of the midlands including parts of Worcestershire and Gloucestershire and also stages an inter-league Charity Cup Final between the winners of this league and the Winter League. The league also celebrates its' twelth season running a Junior League, which begins a month earlier in March and will consist of 16 teams divided into four pools.
The Summer League will donate £100 main prize to the charity of choice by the team that wins the Charity Cup Final, which will celebrate it's 14th anniversary and be held on Sunday, 6th September, 2015 at Henley-in-Arden Tennis Club, alondside the club's Championship Finals. The Summer League President Tony King of Alcester has once again promised financial backing for the Charity Cup Final and Junior Cup Final which will be held alongside each other at Henley. The ball sponsors for the Charity Cup, Junior Cup Final ands Junior Semi-Final Play-Offs are once again "Inspire2Coach".
All Clubs wishing to enter the league in 2015 are required under the rules to send a representative to the meeting. Free refreshments will be supplied following the event.
