The Wildmoor Spa Tennis League (Formerly The South Warwickshire Summer Tennis League) Record Summer League Entry

A new record entry of 48 teams is expected at the AGM of the Wildmoor Spa Tennis League formerly known as the South Warwickshire & District Summer Tennis League.  The League's Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 23rd February, 2016, from 7.30pm, at the Bidford Bowling Club, Salford Road, Bidford-on-Avon. With the Premier League and Divisions 1 to 5 the league remains at six divisions. This is the 3^rd year of sponsorship by the Wildmoor Spa & Health Club.

This Men’s Doubles Summer Tennis League covers the South Warwickshire and district areas of the midlands including parts of Worcestershire and Gloucestershire and also stages an inter-league Charity Cup Final between the winners of this league and the Winter League. The league also celebrates its' thirteenth season running a Junior League, which begins a month earlier in March and will consist of 16 teams divided into four pools.

This year the Winter League will donate £100 main prize to the charity of choice by the team that wins the Charity Cup Final, while the Summer League will purchase the trophies and their Secretary, Corin Bishop, will organise the event.  This will be the 15th Charity Cup Final and will be held on Sunday, 4th September, 2016 at the Wildmoor Spa & Health Club courts, Alcester Road, Stratford-on-Avon, alongside the Wildmoor Spa’s Summer League Annual Presentations. The Summer League President Tony King of Alcester has once again promised financial backing for the Charity Cup Final and Junior Cup Final which will be held alongside each other at the Wildmoor Spa. The ball sponsors for the Charity Cup, Junior Cup Final and Junior Semi-Final Play-Offs are once again "Inspire2Coach" based at Warwick University.

All Clubs wishing to enter the league in 2016 are required under the rules to send a representative to the meeting.
