Warwickshire Club Challenge was a great event played in a brilliant atmosphere.
The children were surrounded by Ladies competing and practising from the Aegon Classic Birmingham Tournament and managed to get lots of photos and autographs! The passing public enjoyed watching some great junior matches when there was no play in the actual tournament and commented on the fun the children seemed to be having.
All players should be congratulated by yourselves on their behaviour on and off the court.
The winners of the Orange event on Monday were Stratford and runners up Leamington. Photo attached of all the players and Stratford players with Warwickshire Vice Chairman Mervyn Stone
Well done to all players and parents in being patient with the torrential rain, thunder and lightning we had on Tuesday afternoon in the Green event!
Unfortunately we had to cancel before the box matches had been completed but were able to work out that Leamington would have won the overall Club Trophy as they finished top of their box in the green event and runners up in the orange event.
Congratulations to Leamington Tennis Club.
Certificates will be emailed to all Green players.

My thanks go to Referee Simon Haddleton who ran a great event and to Warwickshire Vice Chairman Mervyn Stone who presented the trophy and medals.
