Graves 18U Boys qualified for the Aegon Team Tennis Premier National Finals

Monday, June 22, 2015

Graves 18U Boys qualified for the Aegon Team Tennis Premier National Finals on 14th June by winning the North Group, beating off competition including Bolton High Performance Arena. They will now join the other 3 area winners at the LTA National Tennis Centre, Roehampton on 18th and 19th July.

This is a great achievement as all players are still under 16 years of age.

The Premier 18U Tier provides the opportunity for teams to compete outside of their county on a regional and national level. Teams are accepted to the Premier Tier leagues based on the ratings of nominated players at entry stage. There are 3 age groups: 12U, 14U and 18U.

Mark Hamilton, Tennis Manager at Graves Tennis and Leisure Centre said “This is a fantastic opportunity for our boys. They train together at the Centre several times per week. They have played really well throughout the North Group leagues matches. They have a great work ethic and they are really excited about competing in the National Finals”.
