Joining a tennis venue is the first step towards playing tennis as part of a team. By joining a venue you will also meet new people and be able to access competitive opportunities from social play to internal leagues.

Local County & District Leagues
The majority of team competition opportunities in Great Britain service players at a club level, with over 350 County/District league and cup competitions available. These competitions mainly offer doubles matches (mens, ladies and mixed events), cater for all abilities and involve limited travel.

To compete in your local county & district league you will need to join a tennis venue that enters teams in local league competitions.

AEGON Team Tennis
AEGON Team Tennis is a singles based team competition for tennis venues. It aims to provide players of all ages (8&U – Open) with regular league matches, against similar standard players in a competitive team environment.
Teams compete on a County basis in leagues which are appropriate to their player standard. Stronger teams in certain age groups (12&U – Open) have an opportunity to compete outside their county in regional leagues. Matches consist of singles and doubles rubbers.
To compete in AEGON Team Tennis you will need to be a member of a tennis venue that enters the AEGON Team Tennis Competition.

AEGON County Cup
AEGON County Cup events give more experienced players the opportunity to represent their County in team competition. The age group categories range from 9U to 35+.
Events are held at different times of the year and in order to compete players have to be selected by their County.
