Official trips are organised by the LTA throughout the year. Trip selections are made by the Junior Tennis Managers/National coaches who are as follows:
Boys: Martin Weston / Richard Plews
Girls: Iain Bates / Helen Reesby
The dates and details of all trips are listed on the right hand side here and are laid out according to age group and gender. There is now a £50 contribution required from all players travelling on non-representative trips. This is to be paid prior to the trip, please contact Kirsty Thomson to make this payment.
Selection for trips will be made using the criteria outlined in the LTA International Trips Selection Policy which includes, but is not limited to, the below:
- Attitude, commitment, results, camps, progression and performance when selecting for trips and events.
- Players need to have shown that they are of the appropriate level for each trip – results, reports and performances from previous trips and events will be taken into consideration.
- Players need to demonstrate good teamwork and sportsmanship.
Please note:
- The final decision on selection for International Trips lies with the Junior Tennis Managers.
- The LTA reserve the right to cancel trips.
- The LTA cannot guarantee a player's entry into Tennis Europe or ITF events.
- Entry is based on a player's Tennis Europe or Junior ITF Ranking.
- Parents & individual coaches are asked not to attend Summer & Winter Cup
- Parents and coaches are welcome to attend all other events, although players will at all times be travelling as part of the official team.
