The Junior Cheshire Shield is a fantastic one day tournament for junior club teams in Cheshire and will take place on Sunday 16th September at Congleton LTC. Teams are guaranteed a full day’s tennis and the weather has been glorious for the last few years!
- The Junior Cheshire Shield will be played as a one-day event on September 16th at Congleton.
- Boys and Girls events.
- Girls teams can be entered from two clubs playing together.
- Boys teams can be entered from two small clubs (4 courts or fewer) playing together.
- Teams in round robin groups then a compass type draw giving all teams a full day’s tennis.
- Teams will be made up of 4 players playing Doubles.
- Each tie will be 2 matches of 8 games, no ad scoring, total games to count.
- Free refreshments for players.
- Entry fee £10 per team.
- All players must be under 19 on 1st September 2018 (born after August 31st 1999) and be British Tennis Members. They must be bona-fide playing members of the club they represent.
- Closing date for entries: August 31st 2018.
