On Sunday 20 May the Old Market Square was taken over by tennis allowing for the general public the try the game in front of the famous Council House.
With over 500 participants making the most of the hot summer’s day many families played the game in unusual surroundings.
The music blasting out provided a fantastic carnival atmosphere.
The event was sponsors by NBS (Nottingham Building Society) who are one of the sponsors of this year’s Nature Valley Open Nottingham which will host the international event on the grass courts at Nottingham Tennis Centre.
