Both boys and girls gave it their all last Saturday, with both teams finishing in 3rd place.


Nottinghamshire played Leicestershire first.
The girls lost all 4 rubbers to a very strong Leicestershire team.

2, Alexandra Kepa v Erin O'Boyle 1-4/1-4
3, Naomi Szczur v Maisie Smith 1-4/1-4
4, Isabella Chapman v Emily Pollard 0-4/1-4

The boys also played a very strong Leicestershire team and lost 1-3.
Almost getting a draw with Rhys Biro-Moore just losing in a match tie break which went to the wire. Isaac Morris getting our only win, playing a great match against a very tough opponent.

Next up were a very strong Hereford & Worcester.

Once again the girls gave it their all. Once again no matches won, but Olivia Corfe came close, and Alexandra Kepa putting up a fantastic fight, losing 14-12 in a match tie break.

The boys came close to winning this tie, with Puneet Sunner just losing out in a very close encounter. Rhys Biro-Moore convincingly won his match tie break this time, and Isaac Morris won comfortably, meaning the match was tied.

Last up was Bedford. All the girls were determined to get something out of the day, and their patience and determination paid off, with all of them winning their final matches, three of them convincingly. Isabella Chapman winning without dropping a single game, and Naomi Szczur holding her nerve in a match tie break.

The boys also got their well deserved win. Daniel Wright played really well, and was unlucky not to get his first win, having had tough opposition in every match. Puneet got his well deserved first win of the day, and Rhys also winning convincingly, with Isaac Morris just about holding it together, hobbling through to win his well earned third win of the day.

Overall, every single player representing Nottinghamshire gave everything they had for their County, and can be very proud of their achievements and efforts on the day.
