Ladies Summer League
David Lloyd West Bridgford maintained their unbeaten run in division 2, with a comfortable away win against Magdala 'A'. Rachael Allum and Jasmeet Kaler won 6 sets which was matched by Helen Phillips and Kayo Utsumi. Woodthorpe moved up to second place following an away win against David Lloyd West Bridgford 'A'. Carol Whittington and Frances Leaman won 4.5 sets, which was matched by Wendy Haines and Sue Pannell. Caunton completed their fixtures with a comprehensive home win against fellow strugglers Magdala 'A', but it was not enough, as both teams will be relegated.
Burton Joyce confirmed their promotion to division 2 next season, with a home win against the bottom team Ravenshead, who will be relegated. Gill Lane and Margaret Finch were the dominat couple, winning 6 sets.
East Bridgford moved up to third place in division 4A, following a comfortable away win against Musters 'B', who are almost certain to be relegated. Rosie Watkins and Peggy Deller were the top couple with 6 sets, backed up by Irene Cooper and Sandra Ross with 5 sets.
Nottingham Castle completed their fixtures and remained unbeaten in division 4B, following a comprehensive home win against Eastwood, where Carolyn Park and Reinette Boucher were the dominant couple with 6 sets.
Grantham 'A' completed their fixtures with a comfortable away win against Attenborough 'A' in division 5, and will be promoted next season. Ella Tapson and Micki Young were the dominant couple, winning 6 sets for the loss of only 3 games. Grantham 'B' moved up to second place, following a comprehensive away win against Mansfield 'B'
