FAQs

Q: What is Cardio Tennis??

A: Cardio Tennis is a fun, sociable group fitness class set on a tennis court and open to people of all ages and abilities. Supported by motivating music and qualified instructors, you’ll get to hit lots of tennis balls during your class and have a great cardio workout at the same time. You don’t need to be good at tennis and you don’t need to be super-fit already - Cardio Tennis is for anyone who wants to have fun getting fit.

Q: Is there much of a difference between the 2 sessions?

A: Yes! Although they are both tennis-based, there is a big difference between the 2.

-        Cardio tennis is all about getting a good work-out and getting fitter. Everyone works at their own pace and there is no emphasis on tennis skills at all. Tennis pros can work out on a tennis court alongside complete beginners. It’s a great way to have fun, meet new friends and get fit at the same time.

-        The beginners’ lesson however is based on improving your skills as a tennis player. The lessons will assume no prior knowledge or experience of tennis. It will be a friendly and informal environment and a great way to learn some tennis skills and meet some new people with similar interests at the same time.

Q: Can I do both sessions or do I have to pick one or the other?

A: It’s up to you whether you do just one session or whether you stay for both sessions. If you turn up for the first session you decide when you’re there whether you want to stay for the next session or not. It’s only £2 per session so £4 for 2hours of tennis is a great deal!

Q: I can’t commit to coming to a session every week. Is this a problem?

A: No problem at all. There is no booking for these sessions, just turn up on the day and pay your £2 to the coach on arrival. If you can’t make it one week it’s no problem, just come along on the weeks that you can!
