Eleanor Dean has won the Aegon Junior Player of the Month award for April after winning the Antalya $10,000 singles title.
On the way to claiming the Antalya $10,000 singles title, Dean defeated Mexican Victoria Rodriguez in the second round who is 488 places higher in the World Rankings. Dean completed her victory by defeating Austrian Lena Reichel 5-1, RET in the final.

It has been a successful 2014 for Dean who, following an extended period of time off, has won two of the five ITF tournaments that she has entered.
