Alex Ward has won the Aegon Player of the Month award for April after winning the Heraklion $10,000 singles title, his first title of 2014
Ward, who has a 14-3 record since returning from injury at the end of March, had a strong end to the month finishing runner-up in an ITF $10,000 before completing his title victory in Heraklion with a 6-0, 6-3 defeat of Ricardo Rodriguez (VEN).
