Dino Skeete has won the AEGON Coach of the Month award for March.
Dino Skeete has been presented with March’s Coach of the Month award in recognition of his work and success in increasing the participation of juniors at the Wigmore Lawn Tennis Club.
An LTA CCA qualified coach at Wigmore Lawn Tennis Club in Streatham London, Dino Skeete has spent the last year setting up a valued coaching programme at the club.
As well as increasing junior participation, he has brought in a number of new initiatives including “Tots Tennis” and “Fitness Tennis”. He has also helped a number of juniors to compete at county and national level as well as achieve sports scholarships.
Speaking about Dino’s coaching approach Jane Skead, who has been a member at Wigmore for over 20 years commented; “Dino’s passion and commitment to engaging people of all ages and abilities in tennis comes from his own love of the game. Dino studies all aspects of tennis and continually updates his own skills. His enthusiasm is infectious but he is a hard taskmaster and helps juniors understand and improve all of the aspects of their game and competition planning.”
