Emile Hudd has won the Aegon Junior Player of the Month award for May after winning back-to-back singles titles in Slovenia.
At the Grawe Open, he won the U14 singles title, defeating Russian, Yan Bondarevskiy 7-5, 6-1 in the final and the doubles with Jack Draper, beating fellow Brits, Bradley Buckland & Harry Butler 4-6, 6-1, 10-6.
The teenager from Sutton won against Bondarevskiy again at the Bergant Memorial and has only lost six of the thirty matches he has played this year.
Since being selected for the LTA’s Aegon FutureStars programme in 2012, Hudd’s been quickly climbing Tennis Europe’s rankings and now sits at his highest, No.115.
