The fifteenth seeds now face top seeds Bob & Mike Bryan for a place in the quarter-finals.
Meanwhile Dominic Inglot & Treat Huey of the Philippines fell in round two, defeated by Croatian Mate Pavic & Brazilian Andre Sa 7-6(5), 7-6(8).
