Johanna Konta reached the second round of French Open qualifying after a straight sets victory over American Sachia Vickery in Paris on Wednesday.
Konta, who recently hit a career high 102 in the world, defeated Vickery 6-2, 6-3 in an hour and eight minutes to set up a second round match with Poland's Paula Kania.
