Daniela Hantuchova sealed her place in the Aegon Classic final after battling past Alison Riske in the final four at Edgbaston, Birmingham.
The Slovakian world No.60 overcame the American qualifier 5-7, 6-1, 6-4 in a rain interrupted match lasting over two hours.
After the match, Hantuchova said: "I was a little bit unlucky in the first set but I am really happy that I turned it around."
Hantuchova, who finished as the runner-up in Birmingham in 2011 to Sabine Lisicki of Germany, will play Croatian youngster Donna Vekic in the final on Sunday.
"She is having a really good week," commented Hantuchova. "She has beaten some really good players and grass obviously suits her game too."
The last time 30-year-old Hantuchova reached a WTA final was at Brisbane in January 2012.
