Jordanne Whiley is part of the Tennis Foundation's Wheelchair Tennis Performance Programme and has been selected by the British Paralympic Association to represent ParalympicsGB at the London 2012 Paralympic Games. She will compete in the women's division at Eton Manor in the Olympic Park.

Jordanne was encouraged to start playing Wheelchair Tennis by her father Keith, who was a bronze medallist in the 100m L3 at the 1984 New York Paralympic Games.
She has now been competing on court for approximately six years.
Aged 14, Jordanne became Britain's youngest women's Singles National Champion. Other career highlights include winning the 2010 Nottingham Indoor, as she beat two top 10 players to take the trophy. She made her Paralympic debut in 2008, where she reached the quarter-finals of the women's Doubles playing alongside Lucy Shuker.
Jordanne enjoys studying languages, speaking basic French and Dutch, and she has aspirations to coach abroad once she has finished competing.
Jordanne tells us how she is coming back from injury at just the right time to peak at the Paralympic Games.
"It's been a bit frustrating but I'm fine now and into hard training," said Jordanne, who will make her Paralympic debut at Eton Manor – the venue for this year's event – next month.
"I've struggled a bit this year because of the injury and haven't played as many tournaments as I would have liked to do.
"It's disappointing but I will do all I can to make sure I'm ready for the Paralympics. It's the biggest tournament I will ever compete in and I can't wait for it now."
Jordanne has upped her training schedule to include three sessions a day as well as physio in order to ensure she is in the right shape going into London.
The Birmingham-born player is not without form this summer, reaching the quarter-finals of the Swiss Open in July and reaching the final of the doubles with fellow Brit Lucy Shuker at Wimbledon.
And Jordanne said: "The Paralympics is going to be bigger than anything we have ever competed in. I've been watching the Olympics and it has made it seem a lot closer now.
"To finish third in the table was unbelievable and it's up to us in the Paralympic team to follow them now and make sure we succeed in London."
