Tara Moore is through to the quarter-finals of the women's singles in America. Having defeated French top seed Irena Pavlovic 6-2, 6-4, Moore now faces sixth seeded American Madison Brengle.
Elsewhere in the women's singles, Sam Murray and Melanie South were defeated in the opening round.
In the doubles Moore and South have reached the semi-finals and are up against American duo Asia Muhammed & Allie Will next.
