Tara Moore wins in America
Tara Moore has won the won the ITF $25,000 Surprise in Arizona, America women’s singles title. Having already defeated Madison Brengle of USA in the last eight, Moore then went on to defeat France’s world No.183 Irena Pavlovic 3-6, 7-5, 6-2. In the final Moore faced American qualifier Louisa Chirico winning 6-3, 6-1.
Speaking after her win Moore said: "I've had a really good week and it was a great tournament, and I had loads of fun. Iain, Jeremy and Jane are doing a great job with me and it's paying off, hopefully more to come!"

Tara Moore is through to the singles quarter-finals in Arizona after two straight set victories in her opening two matches. In round two Moore defeated Julie Coin of France, a former top 60 player, for the loss of just three games. She now plays Madison Brengle of USA who defeated Moore in the last eight of the ITF $25k event the week before.

Tara Moore is through to the second round of the women's singles in America. For a place in the quarter-finals, 20 year-old Moore plays fourth seed Julie Coin of France.
Meanwhile Samantha Murray and Lisa Whybourn were defeated in the opening round.
In the women's doubles, top seeds Murray & Croat partner Ana Vrljic are through to the quarter-finals after defeating Moore & South in straight sets.
