Andy Murray into Wimbledon quarter-finals
Defending champion Andy Murray overcame big-serving Kevin Anderson to reach the Wimbledon quarter-finals for the seventh successive year.
Murray, 27, came past the South African world No.18 6-4, 6-3, 7-6(6) and will face No.11 seed Grigor Dimitrov in the final eight. The Brit leads Dimitrov 3-1 in previous meetings.
Speaking after his match Murray said: "When you play in front of crowds like that it gives you a big lift. It's great to get through in three sets."
Murray is bidding to become the first British man to successfully defend the Wimbledon title since Fred Perry successfully retained his 1935 Wimbledon title in 1936.
