Having reached the final of the British Championships, George Hedley from Maidenhead struggled to get his body to do what the brain was asking it to do. Despite his injuries Hedley gave absolutely everything he had in a very close first set, but Little was in no mood to take pity on George and eventually defeated him 6-3 6-1 in 90 minutes.
Despite losing, George can be extremely proud of his achievements winning the National Doubles title and Runner up in the singles having only partially recovered from a big toe break. I am sure that he will use this National success as a springboard to future National titles and winning important ITF Junior points in his quest to playing in a Junior Grand Slam. Well done, George .Find out more: http://www.mltc.co.uk/information.html
George is also in the top 16 boys, representing Berkshire in the HSBC Road to Wimbledon main draw this Wednesday. He faces Benjamin Clark from Perse School, Cambridge.
