Impressive County Cup Results

Berkshire could be well satisfied with their recent Winter County Cup results winning 5 out of 6 matches.

The Ladies in Sunderland had a very young team with wins against East of Scotland & Norfolk but defeat against a strong Lancashire on the last day. Newcomers Alisha Rayer and Megan Forster both had 2 singles wins each over the week-end.

Meanwhile the Men in Group 2 were much too strong for Kent, Sussex & Essex. So much so that they only needed 3 rubbers on the sunday.2 were immediately achieved by Piers Foley & Elliot Lloyd in straight sets and then veteran Jamie Delgado won the all-important 3rd rubber.

This means the Men will play in Group 1 at Bath next year for only the second time in their history.
