Hale LTC have a regular junior evening on Friday's, from mini reds through to yellow ball tennis. Realising it fell on the same night as Children in Need it was decided that we would have an evening to celebrate.A Family evening of fun!
It was to be an evening of fun tennis activities, meet Pudsey Bear and Alfie, BBQ and Family Bingo.
At 6.30pm Pudsey and Alfie arrived and the kids absolutely loved them both, the smaller ones not being able to leave them alone!! The kids thought it was brilliant that they shared the evening with these 2 well known mascots! The evening started with a little rivalry between Pudsey Bear and Alfie, Pudsey winning their short mini-red match but then became great friends when they played doubles together against the children.
Later in the evening the children donated money to reveal the true Pudsey and Alfie !!
A BBQ was cooked for over 100 people, of those 60 were probably children A fun night was had by all, finishing with Family Bingo where the HLTC members had donated some of the winning prizes.
A fantastic night was had by all and a total of £200 was collected for Children in Need.
