The Monkhouse Shield interclub junior doubles championships at Congleton on 20th September once again provided a festival of tennis.
Grappenhall LTC & Birchwood Tennis Centre again hosted the Championships. It was good to see many players returning to compete as well as plenty of new faces. This year the weather was good to us, and all of the events were completed on time.
A charity doubles event was held at David Lloyd Cheshire Oaks on Saturday 5th September
It has been decided to launch a small loan scheme for clubs in Cheshire, using the Balance Sheet Reserves built up by the County over many years.
