The annual event for Cornwall's best 10U teams was hosted by the Heron Tennis Centre on Sunday 29 April.
The teams from Truro and St Agnes had to withdraw, which meant that the title was to be competed for by LevertonWilliams, Heron and Penzance.
Unfortunately, terrible weather conditions forced the event to be played indoors and a shortened scoring format had to be introduced. LevertonWilliams were dominant throughout their two ties, with Janner Bindiren, Samuel Jennings, Amiee Polyblank and Dan Hocking winning all of their singles and doubles rubbers.
The Heron team of Jack Griffin, Alexander Wilson, Maddie Griffiths and Jess Nicholls showed considerable determination and great tennis skills to beat the Penzance team 5 matches to 1. Sadly the Penzance team only had 3 players and were led valiantly by their number 1, Pierre Dormeuil with some excellent tennis and great team spirit from the other players Patrick and Rhys.
After the matches, the LevertonWilliams winning team were presented with their Babolat towels, cup cakes and some naughty sweets were shared by all.
