After a very successful intiative last year that attracted over 300 children to the club and saw two lucky winners Charlie Willis and Ellie Macewan getting a years sponsorship for Tennis, Penzance Tennis Club and Ocean Falmouth BMW are teaming up again this year to launch another Search for a star campaign.
The Coaching team will be staging three open days at the club in April and everyone who attends the local primary schools in the Penwith area will be inviited to come along and have a taste of tennis for FREE. All equipment will be provided and players can confirm there places by either returning the registration slips or contacting Martin Coates Tennis Manager at mjctennis@gmail.com. The Open sessions will be:
Tuesday 23rd April 5-6pm , Saturday 27th April 9-10am and Tuesday 30th April with the final presentation day on Saturday 4th May.
Penzance Tennis Club have a very close relationship with the Community and it is so amazing to see Tennis is having such a strong impact on the lives of so many children.
This is a great opportunity for everyone who has never played tennis before and who would like to have a go and maybe become the next Andy Murray or Laura Robson.
