National Family Week aims to highlight the importance of quality time together and promote the benefits of a healthy, active lifestyle. Over the last two years, National Family Week has cemented its place as the UK’s biggest annual celebration of family life. Across the UK families have enjoyed thousands of events, competitions, discounts and promotions thanks to the participation of local and national not-for-profit organisations and our sponsors.
National Family Week 2011 will take place from Monday 30 May – Sunday 5 June and aims to be bigger and better, engaging with thousands of families nationwide.
Get involved
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to showcase the services you provide to families by organising events or activities for families in your local community. These can take place at any time during The Week and be whatever activity you like. One of the core themes for national Family Week 2011 is health & fitness so why not help National Family Week to achieve it’s goal of getting more families involved with and understanding the benefits of a healthy, active lifestyle by organising bespoke tennis activities for families or providing discounts and offers for families to take advantage of during The Week.
Events can be run as a fundraising exercise, to publicise the services you provide or simply have fun and connect with families in your local community. They could be pre-existing events co-branded National Family Week or new events organised specifically for The Week.
