Rain didn't stop play for Redruth's Flybe Orange ball event

The start of play was delayed whilst a very heavy rain shower passed over but this just made everyone even more eager to get out on court.  Spectators were not disappointed with the quality of tennis and a three set thriller between the top two,Noah and Archie, really thrilled.

There was a real fun atmosphere along with great support from parents who enjoyed the complimentary tea and biscuits provided by the club!

Archie just clinched 5 wins against Noah's 4, whilst Oliver, Jack, Zane and Ellie all competed in some very close scoring sets.

Sarah Arnold (coach) presented players with certificates and sweets at the end of the afternoon.

Organiser/coach Sam Brown said, "Flybe mini masters circuit events are a great opportunity for our players to meet others from local clubs and enjoy experiencing competition in relaxed and friendly environment."
