Round 1 of the U15 AEGON Cup Tennis 2009, County competition, saw Tretherras School hosting Truro School and Bodmin Community College. The boys played really well, convincingly winning all their matches.
Tretherras were strong throughout the County competition and ended up playing Penair School in the final. They dropped no sets in the final and progressed to the U15 AEGON Cup National round 1 competition.
Unfortunately the Tretherras squad consisting of Sam Moses, Finn Leverton, Ben Lawson and Connor Jamieson were drawn against Exmouth College, Devon, who were last years National finalists. The lads played well but Exmouth proved too strong and beat Tretherras 4 matches to love.
Well done to the lads for having such an excellent tennis season and good luck for 2010.
