Devon Boys 12 & Unders played a friendly match against Cornwall at the Nuffield Health Devonshire Club, Plymouth on Sunday 28th January.
There were some great performances from the players and Cornwall took the lead in the doubles rounds.
Devon responded well and fought hard in the singles rounds to come back to finish with a 49-49 draw.
Boys 12 & Under captain James Wilkinson said “ I am very proud of all the players today who used this as an opportunity to put into practice specific elements that they have been working on. The boys all showed great enthusiasm in representing their County and I was really pleased with their work rate. A lot of credit goes the coaches back at their clubs who are obviously doing some great work. Hopefully we can take Cornwall on again in the future and nick the win next time.”
